Taiwanese American Professionals – SF / Bay area (TAP-SF)
invites you to hike the Wildcat Loop (3 miles) at Rancho San Antonio County Park in Los Altos. A popular route for hikers and joggers, the trail follows a creek into a cool, fern-walled narrow canyon and ascends to open meadows on the middle ridge.

This hike will be pleasant and enjoyable as the trial is not too steep. On a clear day, you will get to see the spectacular views of Mt. Tamalpais to the north and Mt. Hamilton to the east. After the hike, we can grab food in Cupertino and treat ourselves to some Taiwanese delights!

Please RSVP and be sure to bring sunblock, a hat, water and maybe some trail mix in case you get hungry (lunch time will be a little late). Also don’t forget a pair of comfortable shoes for hiking. And most of all, bring your friends – the more the merrier!

*Directions:
From I-280, north or south, take the Foothill Boulevard exit and proceed south on Foothill Boulevard approximately 0.2-mile to Cristo Rey Drive. Turn right on Cristo Rey Drive, continue for about 1 mile, veer right around the traffic circle, and turn left into the County Park entrance. There are several parking lots, including one designated for equestrian trailers. Park at the parking lot at the end of the road if possible. When you arrive, look for the TAP-SF banner.

The trailhead for the preserve is located adjacent to the 85-car parking area in the northwest lot. For more information, visit http://www.openspace.org/preserves/pr_rancho_san_antonio.asp
