Formosa Betrayed Screening, NATMA Scholarship, and Dinner

Formosa Betrayed is a feature film detailing the murder investigation of a Taiwanese-American professor at a Midwestern college in the early 1980s. It stars Taiwanese American actor Will Tiao. 3. NATMA Scholarship for Health Care Students

NATMA Foundation is offering five (5) $ 1,000 scholarship grants to recognize medical/dental/ allied health students, residents or fellow-in-training of Taiwanese American descent.

Eligibility: Medical, dental or allied health students, residents or fellows of Taiwanese American descent who are in good standing and under training at an accredited U.S. institution or program.

Great Turnout at Passport for Taiwan!




We had a great turnout this year at Passport to Taiwan.
Several NATMA 2G members volunteered at our booth. We registered 30+ individuals during our bone marrow drive, and raised awareness amongst Asian Americans about this important health care topic. Thanks to everyone who came out!

May 15th, 2009 The Overseas Young Health Professionals Program took place March 29th-April 4th. 10 second generation Taiwanese American health professionals took part in this trip to Taiwan. They will be speaking about their experiences from the trip over a casual dinner.
