FooBi Film's first foray into film shorts
All companies built to last have a spirit--a common theme or philosophy that is the undercurrent of all their endeavors. Without it, there is no direction, no core, no heart in the work they set out to do. For the fledgling film company, Foobi Films, they aspire to "Make uncommonly good stories; better than cookies."It is currently comprised of two Taiwanese American sisters--Wendy and Sandra Cheng--who studied filmmaking and animation at NYU and USC respectively. Individually, they have won awards, fellowships, and grants for their work. Now, they are embarking on their first short together as a company and are looking for a project-specific producer who has experience producing films in Taiwan. The intent is to make well-crafted shorts which will be submitted to international film festivals.
